I began practicing Yoga 5 years ago and although I found myself getting fairly proficient in the physical aspect of Yoga, I did not discover the more personal and profound level that Yoga has to offer until I started practicing with Todd. While in group classes, Todd’s method of teaching ‘pulled back the veils,’ as we liked to say, on the truths we could find within ourselves and how Yoga could lead us there. Todd’s ability to ‘read’ each student made me feel like I was receiving a private practice, within a group setting. My journey now continues with semi-private classes with Todd, with the added dimension of chanting. His depth of knowledge and patience in teaching, along with kindness and gentle humor, always addresses exactly what I need – or more importantly, addresses what I didn’t know I needed. I feel very fortunate to have Todd guiding me and can, only now, truly understand the importance of the teacher-student relationship in the Yoga tradition. Todd has brought a new level to my practice that has opened my eyes and my heart. - Mary Jane Headlee
Many years ago, I was facing a health crisis and my Doctor gave me three choices: quit my job, do Yoga or risk an early death. I chose to do Yoga and was fortunate to find Todd Stellfox as my teacher. When I first met Todd, he assessed my needs, goals, strengths, and limitations, and then designed a customized Yoga practice for me. I started practicing with him for 90 minutes, 3 times a week - within 6 months I lost 35 pounds, was off my diabetic medication, stopped my caffeine intake, slept through the night and felt wonderful. Friends did not recognize the new me. Today, I continue to practice with Todd and feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such a knowledgeable and professional Yoga instructor. - Laina Mayfield-Condron
